Food and Wine Cycle Tour

Enjoy a leisurely morning cycle through the rolling countryside of the Yarra Valley, passing farms, vineyards and local produce stores. The cycling is easy and very enjoyable riding along the Warburton Rail Trail, stopping for morning tea at a local winery or the iconic Carriage Cafe.
After the cycle enjoy a local winery wood-fired pizza lunch and glass of wine or soft drink followed by a visit to one or two of the established wineries in the area such as Yering Station and Domaine Chandon or if you prefer one of the smaller boutique Yarra Valley wineries. Time permitting a visit to a local cheese factory or chocolate factory can be included.
Relax, enjoy the cycle and our expert guide will take you on a fantastic tour of the Yarra Valley.
The day can be tailored to your ability and preferences. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toe footwear for cycling up to 20km.
Included: guided tour, bike, helmet, water bottle, morning tea, lunch with one glass of wine, beer or soft drink, tasting at 1-2 Yarra Valley wineries and visit to cheese or chocolate factory time permitting.

Catch a suburban train to Lilydale Train Station. The trip is about an hour from Flinders St Station in Melbourne CBD. VineTours will pick you up from the station and take you to the starting point about a 15 minute drive.
Return Transport from Melbourne Accomodation available for an additional cost.
Great Day Out
Our day riding was just perfect. Allison and Libby were great hosts and we had plenty of fun. The ride was easy and the countryside was fantastic, with some perfectly timed stops to sample some great food and wines, Everything ran like clockwork. Highly recommended for a fun get together with friends.
